What does being a Gold Star Teacher mean to you?
Being a Gold Star Teacher means that my students cared about me and realized that I am doing the best job possible to make learning fun yet meaningful. Students keep me on my toes and make my job fun. This award justifies what I have strived for the last 34 years… do what’s best for kids, and be there for ups and downs, and make everyday positive and rewarding in some way. This award dignifies the teaching profession and honors our efforts.
