How long have you been teaching:  I graduated from UNI in 1992 and have been working with children ever since!

The Thing You Like Most About Teaching:  Children never cease to amaze me.  When you set high expectations, the sky is the limit to what each child can learn.

The Thing You Find Most Challenging About Teaching:  Not having enough time to explore everything my students and I are interested in.

Best Tip for New Teachers:  Build positive relationships with each of your students.  Take extra time to get to know their interests.  Let your students know everyday that they are special.

Best Tip for Career Teachers:  Remember the reason you became a teacher and cherish these reasons everyday. It is a blessing having a job that you love.

Favorite Piece of Advice for Students: Be kind, make good choices, and celebrate mistakes.

What Being a Gold Star Teacher Means to You: It means the world to me that the parents of my Pre-K/Kindergarten students appreciate and value me as a teacher!  Being a Gold Star teacher is a huge honor!
