How long have you been teaching: 21 years

The Thing You Like Most About Teaching: The kids’ funny stories.   When I am having a tough day, they always say things that make me smile and help me remember the things I worry about most are not really that important.    Along with my family, they are the gold stars in my life.

What Being a Gold Star Teacher Means to You: I am very humbled at receiving this award.   It means a lot to me, and I will never forget this !!!   There are many wonderful teachers in our profession and I am proud to be part of this wonderful profession that helps shape the lives of children.
