Best Tip for New Teachers: Know your students. You need to know their interests, their families, what they are proud of, and what concerns them. If you connect with your students and create an environment of family and teamwork you can teach your students anything.
Advice For Students: Find your passion!
What Being a Gold Star Teacher Means to You: It is very important for me that my students love coming to school, that they enjoy learning, and that parents feel their child has had a great teacher. I know how influential a teacher can be to a child and I always want my students to have the best year possible. This shows I am making an impact on my students that will last far beyond 3rd grade.
