The Thing You Like Most About Teaching: Teaching is extremely rewarding, every day is a new adventure and you never know what you’re going to get.
The Thing You Find Most challenging About Teaching: People who don’t have a sense of humor.
Best Tip for New Teachers: Teach like a pirate! Find out who are the best teachers at your school or across the district. Observe them, figure out what makes them special, then “steal” what they do and make it your own.
Best Tip for Career Teachers: At the end of every year, have students write a review on things they liked and didn’t like about your classroom. Then use their reviews to help write your personal goals for the following school year.
Favorite Piece of Advice for Students: Embrace the grind!
