What do you enjoy most about teaching? Learning together, laughing, and inspiring a love for learning in my students.
What do you find most challenging about teaching? Finding ways to inspire and engage students, challenging those who need extra, and finding new ways to guide those who struggle.
Best tip for new teachers: Listen to your students, be will to show them you make mistakes, and know what you do makes a difference.
Best tip for career teachers: You are important, and make a difference to your students, never forget to find joy in each day!
Favorite piece of advice for students: Use your gifts, be willing to make mistakes, and always try to be the best you can be!
What being a Gold Star Teacher means to you: It is such and honor. To me if feels very special, like accepting an award for all teachers. This award is recognition for hard work, and care for my students, but also showing that others in our community see how important teachers are.
